2025 Jeep Meridian Launched in India at Rs. 24.99 lakh

Jeep India has finally launched the new and updated Jeep Meridian in the Indian market. The SUV is available in four variants: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland, with prices starting at Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
The pre-bookings are now open at an initial token amount of ₹50,000, with the deliveries set to begin by the end of October.
Unlike its predecessor, the updated Meridian comes in 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, which has helped bring down the starting price by Rs 6.24 lakh.

  • Jeep Meridian Longitude – ₹24.99 lakh
  • Jeep Meridian Longitude Plus – ₹27.50 lakh
  • Jeep Meridian Limited (O) – ₹30.49 lakh
  • Jeep Meridian Overland – ₹36.49 lakh
The entry-level Longitude trim is only available as a 5-seater, while the others get both seating options.
Kumar Priyesh, Brand Director of Jeep India, stated, “The Jeep Meridian was developed in response to the growing demand for a premium model. This launch marks a new phase for Jeep in India, offering a distinctive design and advanced technology while preserving the adventure capabilities expected from a Jeep.”

The 2025 Jeep Meridian combines iconic design with rugged capability, featuring a signature seven-slat grille, automatic LED headlamps and DRLs with dynamic indicators, and trapezoidal wheel arches and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The signature seven-slot grille now features a honeycomb mesh with chrome accents, giving it a more upscale and modern appearance.

At the back, the taillights also get a mild chrome treatment. Jeep has given it a minor update to refresh the look.

On the inside, we get a 10.25-inch full digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch full HD touchscreen infotainment with built-in navigation and wireless mirroring for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, and panoramic sunroof.
Jeep has replaced the chrome strip running beneath the dashboard with a new copper finish, adding a unique contrast to the interior.
The lower-spec Longitude and Longitude Plus trims come with Seal Grey upholstery, while the Limited (O) trim can be had with a new Wicker Beige color scheme. Only the Longitude trim of the SUV can be had in a five-seat format; moreover, all the other trims continue to be offered in a three-row configuration.

2025 Jeep Meridian: Powertrain and mileage

The 2025 Jeep Meridian is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine, producing 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It offers impressive fuel efficiency, delivering up to 16.25 km/l (ARAI certified), making it one of the most economical SUVs in the D-segment.

The 2025 Jeep Meridian now comes with over 70 safety features, including advanced ADAS functions, six airbags (as standard), and new radar and camera-based advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features like forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning. It also has a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor.
The top-spec Overland variant also gets ADAS with over 10 safety features that include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Intelligent Speed Assist, Full Speed Forward Collision Warning with Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Surround View Monitor, Smart Beam Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and Driver Attention Alert, among others.
