Kia India had started the bookings for the Kia Syros opened on January 3, 2025. Within a month of registration for official bookings, the automaker has recorded over 5,500 orders
Even before its official launch, it has garnered significant attention, with over 10,000 pre-bookings. The compact SUV is underpinned by the reinforced K1 architecture.
The Kia Syros is the latest offering from the Koreans in the sub-4m segment. It is going to be slotted between the Sonet and the Seltos, both of which have been incredibly successful for Kia.
The Syros has a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and it goes all the way up to Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Kia Syros has been introduced in a total of four variants HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+.
Kia Syros Powertrain
The Kia Syros is available with two engine options. There is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit that produces 118 BHP and 172 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT. Customers can also opt for a 1.5-litre diesel that puts out 114 BHP and 250 Nm. This engine is offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
Kia Syros Mileage
The diesel engine returns a mileage of 17.65 kmpl with an MT while the AT version gives a mileage of 20.75 kmpl. Similarly, the petrol unit with MT returns a mileage of 18.20 kmpl while the DCT gives a mileage of 17.68 kmpl.
Kia Syros Safety Features
The Kia Syros comes with six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability Control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat mounts, a 360-degree camera, dual dashcam setup, an electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold and Level-2 ADAS features.
