Mahindra’s most anticipated car of the year the Thar Roxx is gearing up to go on sale this Independance day. The latest iteration promises to elevate the legacy of the Thar, a beloved off-roader first launched on October 2, 2020.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx will be underpinned by an updated version of the Gen 3 platform which has been used in the Scorpio N and will come with a hard metal body.
Additionally, Mahindra will also equip the Roxx with its ‘Frequency Dependent Damping’ technology to enhance ride quality. The Thar Roxx also gets Crawl Smart Assist (CSA). This feature will be available on the automatic version. The system allows the driver to set a speed between 2.5 km/h to 30 km/h, and the vehicle will maintain the speed without any input from the driver.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is expected to be priced from Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Force Gurkha 5-door.
