Skoda Auto India Announces Price Hike
Skoda Auto India has announced a price hike of up to 3 percent across its entire vehicle lineup, effective from January 1, 2025.
Models impacted by the adjustment include the Kushaq, Slavia, Superb, and Kodiaq. The recently launched Kylaq will remain unaffected by the hike until it reaches 33,333 bookings, offering customers a limited opportunity to purchase the SUV at its introductory price.
The company cited rising input and operational costs as the reason for the increase while maintaining quality standards.
Skoda Auto India has set an ambitious target of achieving 1 lakh cumulative sales in India by 2026, with the Kylaq being a significant contributor to this goal. Its popularity among buyers reflects Skoda’s focus on offering innovative, high-quality vehicles that cater to local market demands.
Skoda has also expanded its customer touchpoints to over 260 locations, covering more than 150 cities across the country. These developments aim to enhance accessibility and customer engagement in both urban and rural markets.
