Skoda Auto India showcased a range of vehicles at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam. The new Skoda Superb and the 2025 Octavia RS have been showcased for the first time in India at the Auto Expo 2025. Both models are expected to launch in India later this year.

Design and Features

The fourth-gen Skoda Superb features angular lines at the front which are complemented well by the sculpted bumper and slimmer LED headlamps with integrated DRLs. The sedan rides on silver-coloured 18-inch alloy wheels as standard. At the rear, C-shaped LED taillights connected by a chrome strip and the bold SKODA lettering on the tailgate complete the aesthetic.

The Octavia RS features the signature Butterfly grille with a sleek blacked-out treatment, complemented by updated LED headlights. In profile, the ride height has been lowered. Inside the Octavia RS, there’s a new steering wheel. the Octavia vRS continues the theme of sportiness with a striking red and black color scheme. It gets a new layout with multiple highlights. It comes equipped with a 13-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10-inch digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, new sound, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger and more.

Powertrain & Performance

The Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0 liter Turbo Petrol engine which churns out about 261 bhp and a peak torque of about 370nm. The power unit of the vehicle is paired with a 7 speed -DCT gearbox as well. The car can easily reach the speeds of 100 from o in only 6.4 seconds. The top speed of the vehicle around 250kmph.
Notably, the Octavia vRS features several mechanical upgrades, including a stiffer suspension setup, enhanced braking hardware, and a quicker steering rack.
