Skoda Slavia has been on sale since February 2022, and Skoda India is gearing up for its mid-life update.
The launch of the updated Kushaq will be followed by the refreshed Slavia.
Skoda Slavia is one of the key products under Skoda’s India 2.0 strategy.
The facelifted Slavia is expected to have subtle changes from the ongoing model. On the front side, we can expect refreshed headlamps, a wider grill, and repositioned chrome aspects. Skoda India might consider the connected headlamps for the facelift.
Skoda Slavia is expected to offer new features, primarily an ADAS suite, including several advanced safety aids, a heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, and electronic parking brake.
Mechanically, the Slavia facelift will continue with the same powertrain, which includes a 1.0-liter and a 1.5-liter TSI petrol motor. The transmission options will include a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic torque converter unit, and a seven-speed DCT gearbox.
The Skoda Slavia facelift will continue its competition with the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna in the mid-size sedan segment.
