- The twin-turbo diesel, 8-speed automatic transmission, and numerous gadgets add complexity, and long-term reliability remains uncertain, unlike the Fortuner or Endeavour.
- The massive size can be a hindrance in tight spaces, making it cumbersome in urban areas.
- While the interior appears premium, it doesn't feel as well-built as a Toyota or Ford.
- The engine's 4,000 rpm redline feels too early, with a very narrow powerband.
