The e Vitara electric SUV is preparing for a September 3, 2025, debut in India. It will be available in NEXA showrooms.
As a flagship Maruti EV car, you can expect it to have the latest features, including Level-2 ADAS and adaptive cruise control. There are also two LFP battery options (49 kWh and 61 kWh). These ensure up to 500 km on a single charge.
The e Vitara seems to be a direct rival to the Hyundai Creta EV and MG ZS EV, even in pricing. Ex-showroom costs are expected to be somewhere between ₹20.00 Lakh and ₹25.00 Lakh.
The Swift Hybrid holds fast to an established design – sporty hatchback DNA with a 1.2 L Dual-Jet engine and integrated starter generator. This ensures good on-road response and around 30 km/L fuel economy. The Swift Hybrid is priced at roughly ₹10.00 Lakh, making it a significant upgrade among Maruti upcoming cars in India.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno Hybrid carries its own distinctions. This car is due for release sometime in 2026. It not only brings smart-hybrid assist to a dual-jet powertrain but also comes with a fresh exterior design. The ARAI-claimed 32 km/L is noteworthy. A price marker for the new-gen Baleno Hybrid is not yet confirmed.
Interested buyers seeking affordable Maruti Suzuki EV cars can wishlist the Wagon R Electric. This car is coming in January 2026. It has an approx. 30 kWh battery which can manage a 250 km range and handle rapid-charging too. The price for this car is expected to start at about ₹8.00 Lakh.
Later that same year, 2026, the eWX EV hatch will make its entry. This car will feature concept-inspired styles on Suzuki’s urban platform. It also comes bearing a 200+ km range pack. Price for this EV is set at around ₹8.00 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Going beyond just SUVs and EVs, the Maruti Suzuki brand is also planning to bring back the XL7 MPV in October 2025. This car will carry a premium seven-seat configuration. Price will be between ₹11.84 Lakh and ₹14.84 Lakh.
Then there is the Futuro-e coupe-style EV SUV. It will debut in August 2025 with an estimated price range of ₹9.00-11.00 Lakh.
September 2025 will see the arrival of the S-Cross facelift. This car will have upgraded interiors, a refreshed front fascia, and Suzuki Connect telematics. Pricing may be announced nearer to launch.
