2026 Mercedes V-Class India Launch on March 3—Everything We Know So Far

Mercedes-Benz has officially announced that the new V-Class luxury MPV is set to hit the Indian market on March 3, 2026.

This marks the return of the luxury MPV to India after it was discontinued in 2022. This decision taps into the rising “luxury lounge” trend in India, where upscale MPVs like the Toyota Vellfire have enjoyed tremendous popularity.

Mercedes is expected to launch the extra-long wheelbase versions of the V-Class in India, which will provide even more room and comfort. We can expect deliveries to start around mid-2026!

Moreover, the luxury van is expected to arrive as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) initially, specifically the Extra Long Wheelbase (ELWB) version.

Mercedes-Benz introduced the V-Class to the Indian market in 2019, branding it as a high-end vehicle designed for those who enjoy being driven around. When it first hit the roads, the V-Class was priced starting at Rs. 68.40 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The 2026 V-Class is expected to be priced around ₹1.70 crore (ex-showroom) in India. However, the final price will heavily depend on whether the model arrives as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), which attracts high import duties, or through Local Assembly (CKD).
