2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift has been revealed today, it has received a significant design makeover, new features, and a new automatic gearbox.

It is the first major update for the Kushaq since it was originally launched in 2021. Notably, the Kushaq was the first model to be launched under the Skoda Volkswagen Group’s India 2.0 program.

The new facelift brings some excitement and freshness to the package. However, Skoda could have added a few more features such as an ADAS suite, 360 degree camera and electronic parking brake with auto-hold.

Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, it shares its underpinnings with models such as the Slavia, Kylaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus. High localization and component sharing helped keep costs in check, improving viability for the Indian market.

Interested customers can pre-book one either at their nearest dealership or on Skoda India’s website for a booking amount of Rs 15,000. Moreover, Deliveries will commence by the end of March.

AI Integration

For the first time, 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift will have an AI Companion powered by Google Automotive AI Agent. This AI companion understands Indian Engish accent.

Alloy wheels & Electric Sunroof Standard Across All Variants

The 2026 Skoda Kushaq will have ELECTRIC SUNROOF as standard across all variants starting from the base trim. And it will have PANORAMIC SUNROOF in Higher Trims. Moreover, All variants of the new Kushaq will have alloy wheels.

26.03 cm Digital Cockpit

The 2026 Kushaq will now feature a 26.03 cm digital cockpit, which we have also seen on a few other Skoda vehicles. It is a fully digital unit that is also fully customizable and comes with turn-by-turn navigation.

Rear Seat Massage Function

The new Kushaq comes equipped with a Rear seat massage function that is first-in-segment and a nice-to-have comfort feature for chauffeur-driven occupants.

The 2026 Kushaq facelift will be available in five broad variants: Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo.

The 2026 Kushaq gets three new color options: Cherry Red, Shimla Green and Steel Grey. Five of its existing paint schemes have been carried forward: Deep Black, Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Candy White, and Lava Blue.

In terms of design, the Kushaq facelift adopts the latest iteration of Skoda’s “Modern Solid” design language. It sports sleek LED headlights that stretch across the width of the car and form a T-shaped pattern on both ends.

Furthermore, there are eyebrow-like daytime running lamps (DRLs) and L-shaped signatures bridged by a segmented light bar in the grille, which is inspired by the new Kodiaq.

The Skoda logo is placed in the center of the newly sculpted bonnet; furthermore, the front grille now comes finished in glossy black, which adds to the sporty feel.

Coming to the rear, the 2026 Kushaq now gets an all-new connected LED taillamp cluster with sequential turn indicators and an illuminated ‘Skoda’ badge. The rear bumper has also seen a revision and now features a more layered look, while still being draped in thick cladding.

Talking about the Interior, No major changes have been made to the dashboard layout. However, new color schemes give it a fresh look.

2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift Engine Options

Under the hood, the Kushaq facelift gets the same 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines as its predecessor. However, the 1-litre TSI turbo engine now features a new eight-speed torque converter automatic unit.

Once launched, it will take on established rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Victoris, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun and Honda Elevate.
