2026 VW Virtus Facelift Spied: Launch Date, New Features, and 8-Speed Gearbox

Volkswagen Virtus has been spied testing on Indian roads ahead of its expected launch in the coming months.

The bestselling midsize sedan, first introduced in 2022 is expected to bring a mix of design changes, feature upgrades, and mechanical improvements to stay competitive in the segment.

What’s New?

Front Fascia

The refreshed face features a redesigned grille and a reworked front bumper, while the headlight internals are expected to receive a modern update. Despite these changes, the bonnet design remains largely identical to the current model.

Side Profile

The side profile stays largely familiar, with no major changes to its overall silhouette. The signature body lines and window design carry over, while the 16-inch alloy wheels remain identical to those on the current model.

Rear Profile

The rear section is set for a refresh, most notably with the expected addition of new LED tail lamps. The rear bumper has also been revised, while the performance-oriented GT variant is likely to feature a sporty twin exhaust setup.
