2nd-gen Skoda Kodiaq India Launch Slated For May 2025

Skoda Auto India will launch the second-generation Kodiaq by the middle of 2025. Unveiled globally in October 2023, the next-gen Kodiaq was spotted on test earlier this year for the first time, revealing its new styling. It also gets a refreshed interior bundled with additional features.
The Kodiaq has been a mainstay in the brand’s SUV lineup.
Skoda India’s Brand Director, Petr Janeba, had earlier stated that the second-generation Kodiaq would arrive in India by mid-2025. He has now confirmed that the SUV will in fact be launched in May of next year.
Moreover, the new Skoda Kodiaq has been spotted testing numerous times in the country.
The Kodiaq will continue to be offered with the same powertrain as the outgoing model: the 190hp, 320Nm 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch auto feeding power to all four wheels.
The Kodiaq is currently available in a single, fully loaded L&K variant, priced at Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Due to the changes, a price hike is expected. Skoda has confirmed that the current-gen model will continue to be on sale in India till the end of this year, followed by a 3- to 6-month break until the new model arrives.
