Maruti Suzuki has officially announced that the new-generation Dzire will be launched on November 11.

The Dzire is the most successful sedan across all segments in the Indian market. Notably, the Dzire is the largest-selling sedan in India. It garnered volumes of 164,517 units in the domestic market in FY24.

Leaked images that surfaced earlier gave us some hint about the new Dzire’s design.

2024 New-Gen Maruti Dzire : Design updates

The The fourth generation of this popular sub-four-metre sedan will have a lot of exterior and interior updates. There will be a new grille flanked by LED headlamps. The rear will have new LED taillamps. The compact sedan will drive on a fresh set of alloy wheels. Several media reports have claimed that the vehicle will get an electric sunroof.

2024 New-Gen Maruti Dzire : Engine and performance

The new Dzire will share its engine with the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift, using the company’s 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. Maruti will offer the Dzire with a choice between a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT.

2024 New-Gen Maruti Dzire : Enhanced safety features

Maruti is expected to equip it with six airbags, electronic stability program, hill hold assist, rear parking sensors and a 3-point seatbelt for all passengers. Additionally, the 360-degree camera will offer drivers a complete view of their surroundings, making it the first in its segment to offer this feature.

2024 New-Gen Maruti Dzire : Expected price & Rivals

The 2024 Maruti Dzire could have a starting price of around Rs 6.70 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with other subcompact sedans like the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
