Skoda-Volkswagen Recalls Kushaq, Taigun, Slavia, Virtus
Skoda and Volkswagen India have voluntarily recalled their select models manufactured on the MQB A0 IN platform due to an issue related to faulty welding on the track control arm.
As per the report, the weld seam on the track control arm is not properly affixed, which could possibly lead to the strength and safety failure of these cars. According to Skoda, a production irregularity at the supplier’s end may have caused certain units to miss proper welding along the seam of this component.
Skoda-Volkswagen has not yet issued an official public statement; it is expected that both carmakers will be contacting owners of the affected vehicles to arrange for a voluntary inspection and necessary updates.
Furthermore, if your Slavia, Virtus, Taigun, or Kushaq was manufactured during this period, you can also contact your nearest dealership to check for a potential recall.
