The XUV 3XO scored 29.36 points out of 32 in adult occupant protection (AOP) and 43 points out of 49 in child occupant protection (COP).
Bharat NCAP used two variants of the XUV 3XO for its crash safety evaluation: AX7L and MX2.

The vehicle tested was equipped with safety features such as 8 airbags (standard), ISOFIX child mounts, and safety assist technologies including seatbelt reminders. It missed out on airbags for the side head and knees.
