The new-gen Toyota Camry launched in India at Rs 48 lakh

Toyota has launched the 9th-generation Camry in the Indian market, priced at ₹48 lakh (ex-showroom). The sedan is offered in a single, fully loaded variant.
The Japanese automaker will offer the flagship sedan in a single powertrain option. The updated Camry gets a revised exterior, fresh interiors, and a revised list of features.
The all-new ninth-generation Camry is priced Rs 1.83 lakh more than its previous model, which was priced at Rs 46.17 lakh. Despite the price increase, the new Camry remains Rs 6 lakh cheaper than its closest competitor in India, the Rs 54 lakh Skoda Superb.
2024 Toyota Camry: Exterior


The new-generation Toyota Camry sedan features a revised front profile, including a wide and aggressive radiator grille with horizontal slats and C-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRL) along with new-design LED headlamps. The side profile displays its sloping roofline, arrow-straight shoulder lines, low-slung posture, and a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels. While the rear now boasts a more attractive appearance with updated taillights and a revised bumper.
2024 Toyota Camry: Dimensions and Platform
The all-new Camry measures 4,915 mm in length, 1,839 mm in width, and 1,445 mm in height, and it has a wheelbase of 2,825 mm. The premium sedan is based on the TNGA-K platform.
2024 Toyota Camry: Color Options
Toyota offers the ninth-gen Camry in the following exterior colors: Precious Metal, Dark Blue, Cement Grey, Emotional Red, Attitude Black, and Platinum White Pearl.
2024 Toyota Camry: Interior and Features
Inside, The cabin boasts premium features with a revamped dashboard design highlighted by dual 12.3-inch displays. Then, there is a three-spoke steering wheel, while the center console gets a traditional-looking gear stick instead of a toggle bar seen on the new cars.
The rear seats have a reclining function, with controls in a rear center console. For added comfort, Toyota offers ventilated 10-way powered front seats, three-zone auto climate control, and a sunroof with a retractable sunshade.
On the feature front, the Camry offers a nine-speaker JBL audio system, three-zone climate control, a head-up display, an electric sunroof, 10-way adjustable driver and passenger seats, a rear armrest with touch control switches, a reclining rear seat, and a wireless phone charger.
2024 Toyota Camry: Powertrain
The new-generation Camry is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT). The hybrid powertrain delivers 227 BHP and 220 Nm.
Further, there are three drive modes: Sport, Eco, and Normal.
Toyota claims that this powertrain is 30 percent more economical than the outgoing car, and power is sent to the front wheels via an eCVT gearbox.
Moreover, Toyota offers an 8-year/1.6 lakh km warranty on the Camry’s battery pack.

The new Toyota Camry competes against the likes of the Skoda Superb, BMW 3 Series Grand Limousine, and Mercedes C-Class.
