Mercedes-Benz India will showcase the Concept CLA Class at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The concept car was first showcased back in September 2023, and it will make its India debut at Auto Expo 2025.
Mercedes-Benz aims to showcase its commitment to iconic luxury while presenting cutting-edge products that highlight its vision for the future. The Concept CLA combines luxury, sustainability, and next-gen technology; it boasts almost CO2-free steel, sustainably processed leather, and innovative materials.
Furthermore, the Concept CLA is built on the brand’s Modular Architecture (MMA) platform; it is around 4.6 meters long and riding on 21-inch wheels. The car will have a body with smooth lines and a long hood that follows the brand’s design language. On the inside, the car will have an updated version of the super screen, which will help the occupants interact with the car, encompassing all of its controls.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the next-gen CLA Class will be offered with both ICE and EV powertrains. The car will be offered with a next-gen 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine in three states of tune—134 BHP, 161 BHP, and 188 BHP. Mercedes-Benz claims that the Concept CLA’s powertrain previews ‘next-generation electric-drive technology’ for production EVs.
The EV variant is expected to feature battery pack configurations of up to 85 kWh, with a primary motor on the rear axle offering an impressive claimed range of over 750 km per charge.
Additionally, the Concept CLA will use sustainable materials throughout its structure and interior.
