Renault introduces standard 3-year/1 lakh km warranty across all models
Renault has introduced four new extended Warranty plans. Effective for deliveries from 1st January 2025, the warranty covers mechanical and electrical failures, including defects in material, workmanship, or manufacturing.
Additionally, the company has also introduced new extended warranty schemes across its lineup. Both the standard and extended warranty programs include complimentary 24*7 Roadside Assistance.
The standard warranty period for these models has been increased from 2 years to 3 years (limited to 100,000km), making ownership smoother and more hassle-free right from the start.
Moreover, Renault has also extended its optional warranty coverage, which was previously capped at 5 years, to an impressive 7 years, making Renault one of the few automakers in this segment offering such comprehensive coverage, reinforcing their commitment in the Indian market.
Extended Warranty Options according to customer needs
- 4 years/1,00,000 km (whichever is earlier)
- 5 years/1,20,000 km (whichever is earlier)
- 6 years/1,40,000 km (whichever is earlier)
- 7 years/unlimited km
Buyers intending to keep their car for the long term, the option to extend the warranty to a full 7 years is a game-changer. It provides them with a cushion against unexpected repair costs for almost the entire lifespan of the vehicle.
Venkatram M., Managing Director and Country CEO of Renault India, stated “By introducing a standard 3-year warranty, we are not only reaffirming the confidence we have in our vehicles but also showing our dedication to elevating the customer experience. This initiative ensures that every Renault owner feels valued and supported, making car ownership worry-free and rewarding.”
