Maruti e Vitara Unveiled At Bharat Mobility Global
Maruti Suzuki unveiled its first-born electric SUV, e-Vitara at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Built on the new HEARTECT-e platform, the e-VITARA promises a mix of performance, comfort, and cutting-edge safety.
According to the automaker, this platform is designed on three core principles: exceptional strength and structural rigidity, a spacious cabin, and advanced high-voltage protection.
The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara has design similarities with the eVX Concept showcased for the first time at Auto Expo 2023.
Speaking at the launch, Maruti Suzuki India Managing Director and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said, “We have invested more than Rs 2,100 crore for manufacturing e VITARA in India, which includes a dedicated EV production line”.
The company is looking to create electric eco solutions for the customers through the “e for me” initiative, he added.
