Toyota has unveiled the BEV Concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, marking a significant toward an emission-free future for India. This new Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) concept is reportedly the rebadged version of Maruti Suzuki’s eVX concept, previously unveiled at the Auto Expo which also served as a base for the e Vitara. While sharing its underpinnings with the Maruti Suzuki EV, Toyota has incorporated design and feature changes in this SUV to mark a clear distinction from the eVX concept.
The compact EV is already available in some markets as a production model.
In India, this all-electric Urban Cruiser will take on rivals such as the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, and Hyundai Creta Electric.
