Kia has launched its premium Syros Sub-4m SUV in India, its ex-showroom prices starts at Rs 9 lakh for the base HTK petrol-manual variant, and goes up to Rs 17 lakh for the top-spec diesel-AT variant.
The pre-bookings for the Syros started since January 3 for a token amount of Rs 25,000. The deliveries will commence from mid-February. It is offered with turbo-petrol and diesel engine options across six broad variants.
The Sub-4m SUV sits between the Sonet and Seltos, and its prices start at Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Sonet has a base price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Seltos begins at Rs 11.12 lakh (ex-showroom).

The diesel engine returns a mileage of 17.65 kmpl with an MT while the AT version gives a mileage of 20.75 kmpl. Similarly, the petrol unit with MT returns a mileage of 18.20 kmpl while the DCT gives a mileage of 17.68 kmpl.

On the front, the Kia Syros features vertically stacked LED headlights. From the side, it features a boxy side profile and rides on 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while its ruggedness is enhanced by chunky body cladding and squared-off wheel arches. It offers flush-fitting door handles, faux skid plates, chunky body cladding, integrated spoiler, and a shark-fin antenna. At the rear, it boasts L-shaped LED lights, while the roof-mounted spoiler adds a sporty touch.

On the inside, the Syros features dual-tone interior incorporates reclining rear seats with leatherette upholstery and ventilation. The Syros is decked up with two 12.3-inch displays (one for infotainment and the other for instrumentation), a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front and rear seats. It also gets a 5-inch screen for climate controls.
There are four different interior colour schemes depending on the variant,and they all have a youthful pallet with lively off-set colour accents all around the cabin.The colour scheme can be further tweaked with 64-colour ambient lighting.

The Kia Syros offers plenty of features such as a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 5-inch touchscreen for climate control, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front and rear seats, four-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, sliding and reclining rear seats, 64-colour ambient mood lighting, a 8-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system, sunshades and auto up/down functionality for all windows and to name a few.

The Kia Syros comes with six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability Control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat mounts, a 360-degree camera, dual dashcam setup, an electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold and Level-2 ADAS features.
