According to the reports, Kia has issued a recall for 1380 units. These units have been produced between March 3, 2022 and April 14, 2023. The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) has also been informed on behalf of the company.
Kia has initiated this update to improve the overall ownership experience for affected customers. The recall specifically applies to the pre-facelift Kia EV6.

The company has mentioned in its official recall statement that the owners of the affected vehicles will be contacted directly. The owners of the cars will be advised to reach the Kia dealerships in order to schedule an appointment.
