Lamborghini is gearing up to launch the new Urus SE plug-in hybrid (PHEV) in India on August 9, 2024.

Lamborghini Urus debuted for the first time at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show in April. The electric version of the powerful SUV has a couple of design, interior, and onboard technology upgrades.

The Urus SE is a powerful and high-tech SUV with a hybrid engine, making it that much more efficient than the standard Urus S.

The Urus SE is claimed to be the most powerful and technologically advanced SUV of all time. The Italian performance brand claims a 0-100 kmph time of just 3.4 seconds for the new Urus SE, which is 0.1 seconds faster than the Urus S.

Lamborghini Urus SE Powertrain

The new Urus SE is equipped with a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine developing 620 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 25.9-kWh battery pack coupled with an electric motor that generates 189 bhp and 483 Nm of torque. This combination increases power and torque output.

The engine is paired with an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed automatic gearbox.

You can drive the Urus SE in EV mode for up to 60 km before the gas engine comes into action.

The Lamborghini Urus SE is capable of reaching 312 kmph.

There are 10 driving modes now: Strada, Sport, Corsa (road and track), Neve, Sabbia, and Terra (off-road) and EV Drive, Hybrid, Recharge, and Performance.

The Lamborghini Urus SE gets a redesigned front bumper and grille and a new bonnet that makes its way to the nose of the car, it gets slimmer headlamps with new C-shaped daytime running lamps.

The rear gets a more notable overhaul, with the bumper and tailgate both being new units.

The Urus SE gets 23-inch wheels with over 100 body color options.

a new 12.3-inch touchscreen system on the dashboard that also gets the latest version of the carmaker’s HMI (Human Machine Interface).

The center console now features a strip of leather or Alcantara running the width of the dashboard under the central touchscreen, along with new AC vents and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument console.

Moreover, the user interface has been updated with new graphics similar to those of the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s hybrid supercar.
