Mahindra Thar Roxx Variants

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is being offered in two broad variant levels: MX and AX. These further branch out into the following sub-variants:
  • MX: MX1, MX3, and MX5
  • AX: AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L

Mahindra Thar Roxx Powertrain

The Mahindra Thar Roxx gets two engine options, specifications of which are:
  • 2-litre Turbo-petrol: 162 PS, 330 Nm (MT)/177 PS, 380 Nm (AT)
  • 2.2-litre Diesel: 152 PS, 330 Nm (MT)/ 175 PS, 370 Nm (AT)
Both engine options are available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox options. While the petrol and diesel variants come with an RWD drivetrain as standard, the diesel variant also gets an optional 4WD system.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Features

On the feature front, the Thar Roxx has a 10.25 inches of digital instrument cluster with touch screen infotainment system and Apple CarPlay connectivity with Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, automatic AC control, rear passenger AC control, climate control, ventilated seat with height-adjustable driver seat, keyless entry, 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, and ADAS.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Color Options

The Thar Roxx has seven exterior colour options. These include Deep Forest, Tango Red, Everest White, Battleship Grey, Nebula Blue, Stealth Black, and Burnt Sienna.

Top segment-first features

Multiple engine options – The Thar Roxx is available with two engine choices: a 2-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel, each with two different power outputs.
Drivetrains – The Thar Roxx is the only ladder-on frame-based SUV that offers options for urban conditions and off-roading trails. The new 5-door SUV is available in rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions.
Level 2 ADAS – Mahindra has packed the Thar Roxx with ten features like adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane keep assist etc.
Electronic Locking Differential – The Thar Roxx is the first vehicle manufactured by an Indian OEM to be equipped with a state-of-the-art electronic locking differential. This feature ensures that the Thar Roxx gets the precise traction required for all four wheels reducing wheelspin to a minimum.
