Tesla has rented a 4,000-sq ft space in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) business district.
According to the registration documents, Tesla’s new showroom is in Maker Maxity, on the ground floor of 2 North Avenue.
The flagship showroom will showcase Tesla’s cars and pitch the company as a premium auto brand for electric vehicles.
The deal started from February 16, 2025, with the company agreeing to pay approximately $446,000 in rent for the first year for the first year for a 4,003-square-foot (372-square-meter) space.
The rent will increase by 5% every year, reaching about Rs 4,70,98,505 (USD 542,000) in the fifth year, according to the registered lease document provided to Reuters by analytics firm CRE Matrix.
Notably, Last month, the Elon Musk-owned company posted job listings for 14 positions, including store and customer relationship managers.
