MG Windsor EV is again the best-selling electric car in March 2025

JSW MG Motor India sold 5,500 units of the Windsor in the month of March 2025. The MG Windsor seems to have become the new favourite among the buyers.

Moreover, MG has achieved a significant milestone with the Windsor surpassing 15,000 units in production in Feb 2025. It has quickly become India’s best-selling electric vehicle, holding the top position for four consecutive months from October 2024 to January 2025.

Notably, MG’s Battery-as-a-service model is a major contributor to the record sales of the Windsor. This model allows customers to purchase Windsor without paying for the battery upfront and paying for battery usage separately at Rs 3.5 per km.

Over 85% of JSW MG Motor India’s total sales came from EV sales, which is up from 78% EV share in February 2025. These vehicles include Comet EV, ZS EV and the company’s trending car, the Windsor EV.
