MG Sells 20,000 units of its Windsor EV in 6 months

JSW MG Motor India has achieved a significant milestone. MG Windsor has crossed 20,000 units cumulative sales milestone in six months. This achievement makes it the fastest-selling electric vehicle (EV) model in India to cross this figure, based on wholesale figures.

The company had launched the Windsor in September last year and introduced an ownership plan through Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering and claimed that owning the model was at the price equivalent of a manual engine-based compact SUV.

Rakesh Sen, the Director of Sales & Marketing at JSW MG Motor India, expressed his pride in the vehicle’s performance, highlighting the MG Windsor’s combination of modern design, advanced technology, spacious interiors, and cost-effective operation as key factors in its success.

“Since its launch, the MG Windsor has delighted car buyers with its exceptional value proposition. Customers have praised its futuristic design, intuitive tech features, spacious cabin, all combined with a sustainable and pocket friendly driving experience. In addition, with the MG Windsor, we have successfully addressed category barriers and dispelled several myths around EVs in India through our innovative approach.
