Mahindra XEV 9e, BE6 Waiting Period and Delivery Details Revealed

According to Mahindra, the majority of customers are opting for the fully loaded Pack Three variant of the XEV 9e and the BE6.
Interestingly, the XEV 9e has captured a larger share of the demand
- 59% of customers preffered the XEV 9e
- 41% have opted for the BE6
These figures highlight the growing popularity of Mahindra’s electric offerings, which are designed to cater to the increasing interest in sustainable, high-performance vehicles.

6,300 Mahindra EVs Delivered
Mahindra has delivered over 6,300 all-electric Origin SUVs across India. In less than a month since deliveries began in March 2025, Mahindra delivered more than 3,000 units of the BE 6 and XEV 9e. Mahindra now states that the remaining bookings will have a waiting period of 4-5 months.
XEV 9e and BE6: Top Variant in High Demand
Customer interest is particularly strong for the fully loaded Pack Three variant, which includes the highest-spec features and performance upgrades. According to Mahindra, current booking trends show that:
Mahindra XEV 9e:
Pack Three 79 kWh: With a starting price of Rs 30.50 Lakh (ex-showroom), deliveries commenced in mid-March 2025.
Pack Three Select 59 kWh: With a starting price of Rs 27.90 Lakh (ex-showroom), deliveries will commence from June 2025.
Pack Two 59 kWh: With a starting price of Rs 24.90 Lakh (ex-showroom), deliveries will commence from July 2025.
Pack One 59 kWh: With a starting price of Rs 21.90 Lakh (ex-showroom), deliveries will commence from August 2025.
Mahindra BE6:
Pack Three 79 kWh: With a starting price of 26.90 (ex-showroom), deliveries commenced in mid-March 2025.
Pack Three Select 59 kWh: With a starting price of Rs 24.50 Lakh (ex-showroom), deliveries will commence from June 2025
Pack two 59 kWh: With a starting price of Rs 21.90 Lakh (ex-showroom), deliveries will commence from July 2025.
Pack One Above 59 kWh: With a starting price of Rs 20.50 Lakh (ex-showroom), deliveries will commence from August 2025.
Pack One 59 kWh: With a starting price of Rs 18.90 Lakh (ex-showroom), deliveries will commence from August 2025.
XEV 9e and BE6: Battery Pack Options
Based on the EV-specific INGLO platform, the XEV 9e and the BE 6 have a couple of battery pack options — 59kWh and 79kWh — and motor choices — 170kW and 210kW. The 170kW motor is paired with the 59kWh battery, while the 210kW motor is mated to the 79kWh battery. The motor torque is similar in both cases, at 380Nm.
The 0-100kmph acceleration time is claimed to be 6.7 seconds for the BE 6 Pack Three 210kW/79kWh and 6.8 seconds for the XEV 9e Pack Three 210kW/79kWh. The claimed range is 683km (MIDC part 1 and 2) for the BE 6 and 656km (MIDC part 1 and 2) for the XEV 9e, supported by fast charging capability (20-80% in under 20 minutes with a 175kW DC charger).
