The Iconic Mercedes G-Class is getting an Indian touch.
Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will launch a new 'Collector's Edition' of the hotter G 63 that is inspired by India on June 12.
Mercedes-Benz India will introduce a new India-Exclusive ‘Collector’s Edition’ of the AMG G 63 on June 12, 2025 paying a tribute to the “rich Indian tapestry and landscape”.
The Collector’s Edition has been developed in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz India and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India.
Design changes & Expected Price
The AMG G63 Collector’s Edition will feature cosmetic updates over the regular SUV. The overall silhouette of the SUV remains the same as the version on sale in the country.
The teaser image showcases a bright orange paint shade with a new alloy-wheel design. We can expect unique exterior and interior trim pieces exploring Indian themes, providing a tribute to the Indian blends and landscape.
Price
The collector’s edition will be sold in limited numbers, the prices are expected to be upwards of Rs 4 crore, ex-showroom.
Powertrain
The India-Exclusive ‘Collector’s Edition will be equipped with a 4-litre V8 bi-turbo-petrol engine (585 PS/850 Nm), coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
