Tata Harrier EV To Be Launched Tomorrow, Here’s What To Expect!

Tata Motors is all set to launch the much-awaited Harrier EV in India tomorrow. The electric SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Built on Tata’s Gen 2 EV architecture, which is a significant evolution of the OMEGA Arc platform, the SUV shares its underpinnings with the upcoming Curvv EV that debuted in 2024.
Ahead of the official price announcement, the carmaker released a teaser of the SUV conquering the Elephant Rock, Kerala, showcasing its off-road prowess.
The teaser features Dr Mohammed Fahed, a professional off-roader, climbing the Elephant Rock in Kerala.
What does the Teaser Reveals?
The Teaser showcases the Harrier.ev attempting to climb the famous Elephant Rock in Kerala. This mountain peak rises to an elevation of 3,937 feet. Certain sections of the climb have an incline of up to 34 degrees, while other areas are scattered with jagged rocks and loose boulders.

Additionally, the teaser highlights rotary knob for driving mode selector. Further, it has a digital instrument cluster and a design similar to the dashboard of the regular ICE Harrier.
Tata’s Harrier EV is set to get terrain modes like rock crawl, snow and sand, that will likely give a good off-road experience.
Moreover, a transparent mode for the 360-degree camera is showcased. This is providing a view of the terrain surface under the vehicle to help navigate obstacles while minimising the risk of scraping off the bottom.

Tata Harrier EV Battery Pack & Specifications
The electric Harrier will be offered with two battery configurations, likely including a 75 kWh pack.
All-Wheel Drive (AWD): Tata Motors had confirmed that the Harrier EV support AWD (all-wheel drive) system.
Powerful Torque: The electric SUV will offer a maximum torque of 500Nm.
V2L and V2V: It will offer both (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging capabilities.
Range: The teasers indicate an impressive electric range of over 600km on a full charge.
Tata Harrier EV Features
The Harrier EV is likely to include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, touch-based HVAC panel, four spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, dual zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, a small drive selector and a rotary dial. Additionally, it will include electronic parking brake, hill hold assist, multiple airbags, Level 2 ADAS and many more.
