Kia India has discontinued the 1.5L turbo petrol engine option which was offered exclusively with a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT).
With the latest move, the standard Carens 2025 is now available with just 2 powertrain options.
Last month, Kia had discontinued all variants except the Premium (O) trim. It is priced at Rs 11.41 lakh (ex-showroom). Kia have revised the Carens’ powertrain options yet again by removing the 1.5L turbo petrol engine option.
The standard Carens is only available in a 7-seater configuration and misses out on features like ventilated seats, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, cruise control, a sunroof and Level 2 ADAS.
