Nissan Magnite Gets Segment-First 10-Year Extended Warranty In India

Nissan Magnite is now being offered with a 10-year extended warranty offering up to 2 lakh km coverage and enhanced ownership benefits.

This plan has been announced immediately after the New Nissan Magnite scored a 5-star rating on overall passenger safety with a perfect 5-star rating on Adult Occupant Safety (AOP).

Notably, the plan, priced at just Rs 0.22 per km or Rs 12 per day, covers up to 10 years or 2 lakh km and is available only for vehicles with a 3-year standard warranty, starting from the new Magnite launched in October 2024.

Moreover, the plan is not available for earlier Magnite versions sold before October 2024, which carried a 2-year standard warranty.

Launched in October 2024 on the enhanced CMF-A+ platform, the New Magnite features over 40 standard safety elements, including six airbags, ESC, TCS, hill-start assist and a high-tensile strength steel body.

10-Year Extended Warranty Explained

The Nissan Magnite is offered with a 3-year / 1,00,000 km standard warranty. With these new plan buyers can extend this cover all the way to 10 years or 2,00,000 km — whichever comes first.

Customers can choose from:

• 3+1 (4 years total)
• 3+2 (5 years total)
• 3+3 (6 years total)
• 3+4 (7 years total)
• 3+7 (full 10 years total)

For the first seven years, most components are covered. While, in the final three years, the focus shifts to the engine and transmission.

The extended warranty becomes active immediately upon the expiry of the original 3-year manufacturer warranty and is valid across all Nissan-authorized service centers in India. It allows for cashless repairs with no limit on the number or value of claims, and all repairs are carried out using genuine Nissan spare parts to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
