The Mahindra XEV 9e price starts at ₹21.90 lakh for the base Pack One variant and goes up to ₹31.25 lakh for the top-spec Pack Three with an 11.2 kW charger, all ex-showroom.
There are optional AC chargers as well. These include 7.2 kW or 11.2 kW, and they come with an added cost.
This can modify on-road quotes to something higher depending on your city. Dealers also bundle state-specific incentives and subsidies. So based on your region, XEV 9e final on-road price can vary.
Mahindra presents the XEV 9e with two reliable lithium-ion battery capacities. These are the 59 kWh pack and the bigger 79 kWh pack.
The smaller unit boasts a peak power of 170 kW and 380 Nm of torque. The bigger unit boosts output to around 210 kW with the same torque. Both packs sit low in the INGLO skateboard chassis. This promises a balanced ride and improved handling.
There are four distinct variants to choose from:
Pack Two is the only trim of the lot which brings both battery options. As for Pack Three Select, it holds on to the 59 kWh unit.
Remember that each step up the variant ladder brings some additional creature comforts. This does indeed apply to ADAS upgrades and tech refinements as well.
On the ARAI cycle, the 59 kWh variant is recorded at 542 km per full charge. The 79 kWh has showcased an impressive 656 km.
These figures mean approx. 460–480 km of real-world driving for the smaller pack and 550–600 km for the bigger pack. This, of course, depends on driving style and surrounding conditions.

The XEV 9e supports fast DC charging. In this case, it can handle up to 175 kW, which can boost the battery from 20-80% in approx. 20 minutes.
If home charging is your go-to, you can choose either a 7.2 kW AC wall box, which can easily complete a full charge in roughly 8-11 hours, or an 11.2 kW AC unit, which relies on a 59 kWh pack to power-up in around 6 hours (8 hours for the 79 kWh, though).
