Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) is planning to launch a new showroom line called “Nexa Studio” that will cater for Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities of the country.
Maruti Suzuki intends to introduce approximately 100 Nexa Studio outlets in smaller towns by the end of this financial year. Phase 1 of the Nexa Studio rollout will include around 30 cities. These outlets will have sales, service, and spare facilities, with a two-car display and a dedicated delivery area.
Nexa Studios will be smaller in size compared to regular Nexa outlets. These will be set up in markets where sales of Nexa models are limited to 25-30 units per month. Besides sales, these new outlets will also house service and spare parts facilities.
Maruti Suzuki has been rapidly expanding its Nexa dealership presence across the country. While it added just 22 new Nexa outlets across the country in FY24, the carmaker opened 119 new Nexa outlets between April 1 and August 23 this year.
Currently, MSIL, sells its cars through two dealership lines: Nexa for the premium segment and Arena for all others.
