GST 2.0 Benefits: Jeep Compass Gets Price Cut Of Upto Rs 2.16 Lakhs

Jeep Compass will see a price cut of up to Rs 2.16 lakh. The price cut is a result of the GST rate for larger SUVs (over 4 meters in length with an engine capacity exceeding 1,500cc) being reduced from the previous 50% (28% GST + 22% cess) to a new flat 40%.

Under the new GST 2.0 regime, which will come to effect from September 22, 2025, Jeep India has reduced the prices of all Jeep Compass variants.

Jeep has stated that it will pass on the full benefit of these tax reforms to its customers, making the brand more accessible and competitive in the market. This move positions the Compass more competitively against rivals like the Hyundai Tucson, Citroën C5 Aircross, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
