The BYD Sealion 7 electric SUV will become more expensive from January 1, 2026 as BYD India prepares to revise the model’s prices across both of its variants. The company has confirmed that customers who book the SUV on or before December 31, 2025 will still be able to buy it at the current ex showroom rates giving interested buyers one last chance to lock in the existing prices before the hike rolls out

Current BYD Sealion 7 Prices Before The Hike

Here is the price list that remains valid until the end of December 2025:

• BYD Sealion 7 Premium (82.56 kWh) – Rs.48.90 lakh (ex showroom)
• BYD Sealion 7 Performance (82.56 kWh) – Rs.54.90 lakh (ex showroom)

These prices will be updated once the new year begins

BYD India Confirms Price Revision

Speaking about the upcoming price increase Rajeev Chauhan Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles at BYD India shared that the Sealion 7 has been well received by buyers all over the country. He said the SUV has crossed 2,000 sales in a short time showing its rising demand in the Indian electric car market

Chauhan added that the planned price update will start in early 2026 but buyers who decide before December 31, 2025 can still access the current pricing. He also mentioned that BYD is expanding its sales and service network and the Sealion 7 will continue to play an important role in the brand’s electric mobility strategy in India
