Maruti Suzuki today announced the launch of the new Swift CNG. Earlier this year, the company launched the facelifted Swift with a new 1.2-liter Z-series 3-cylinder petrol engine, and now it has introduced its CNG version.
The new Maruti Swift CNG can be had in the VXi, VXi (O), and the ZXi variants, priced at Rs 8,19,500, Rs 8,46,500, and Rs 9,19,500, respectively.
Maruti Suzuki has claimed that the new Swift CNG has 6% better mileage than its predecessor at 32.85 km/kg, making it India’s most fuel-efficient premium hatchback.
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “With the launch of the Epic New Swift S-CNG, we are not just expanding its rich legacy but taking it to new heights.”
The Maruti Swift CNG’s only direct rival is the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG
