JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the MG Majestor with prices starting at ₹40.99 Lakh (ex-showroom).

First showcased to the public at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the highly anticipated MG Majestor has officially gone on sale in India.

Positioned boldly as India’s first true “D+ segment SUV,” this massive 5-meter machine blends old-school road presence with modern digital luxury. By undercutting its rivals on price while offering features usually reserved for luxury German brands, MG is sending a clear message to the reigning Toyota Fortuner

The new MG Majestor features a bold, squared-off silhouette that gives India’s premium flagship D+ segment SUV an imposing road presence. The redesigned front fascia showcases a striking ‘Mosaic Matrix’ grille flanked by crisp LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and low-set tri-beam LED projector headlamps. A rugged front bumper with a pronounced skid plate anchors its commanding stance.

In profile, the luxury SUV rides on premium 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, complemented by muscular wheel arches, practical side steps, and sleek, slim roof rails.
The rear design is highlighted by modern LED tail-lamps connected by a sleek light bar, featuring the classic ‘Morris Garages’ lettering above and the ‘Majestor’ emblem below. The rear bumper rounds out the tough aesthetic with heavy protective cladding, faux exhaust tips, and an integrated skid plate.

Interior & Features

Compared to the outgoing MG Gloster, the premium cabin has been completely transformed with a modern, high-tech dashboard layout. The interior experience centers around a freestanding 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a matching 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster.

A streamlined center console integrates twin high-speed wireless charging pads for added convenience. The driver enjoys 12-way power-adjustable seating, complete with cooling ventilation and multi-mode massage functions. Wrapped in an elegant ‘Smoked Ebony’ theme, the interior is available in both spacious 6-seater and 7-seater configurations, with the 6-seater version utilizing second-row captain seats. Notably, the exclusive 6-seat layout is offered solely on the 4×2 drivetrain variants.

Other premium comfort and convenience highlights include three-zone automatic climate control, plush leather upholstery, and a sweeping panoramic sunroof. The luxury cabin also comes equipped with 64-colour ambient lighting, a convenient powered tailgate, and a high-fidelity 12-speaker JBL premium audio system.
