Nissan India has opened bookings for the upcoming Magnite facelift with a token amount of Rs 11,000, While the updated avatar of the sub-4-meter compact SUV will be launched on October 4, its deliveries will commence a day later on October 5.

The Magnite facelift will get a slightly reworked grille, new alloy wheels, and restyled LED taillamps on the outside. The bumpers are also expected to be redesigned.

The compact SUV is also expected to get additional features, including 20 first-in-segment features and over 55 active and passive safety features. One can also expect to see an upgraded infotainment system, a new instrument cluster, and upholstery.

The Nissan Magnite facelift will retain its current powertrain lineup. It will offer two petrol engine options: a naturally aspirated 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine delivering 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque and an aturbocharged 1.0-liter engine producing 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual or an AMT for the naturally aspirated variant, and a 5-speed manual or a CVT for the turbocharged version.

The Magnite facelift will continue to rival the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, and other models in the category.
