Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has introduced the SV Ranthambore Edition of Range Rover, a limited-run model inspired by the tiger’s natural habitat.

The Ranthambore Edition is said to be the first ever limited edition exquisitely crafted for India.

Each of the 12 vehicles will carry ‘Ranthambore Edition’ and ‘1 of 12’ inscriptions on bespoke tread plates, further emphasizing the exclusivity of this model.

The Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is named after the Ranthambore National Park.

The brand says that it will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the Ranthambore Edition to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.

Range Rover SV Ranthambore: Exterior

The exterior features a bespoke black finish with a reddish finish, accented by Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite details inspired by tiger stripes, visible on the grille, tailgate, and 23-inch dark alloy wheels.

Range Rover SV Ranthambore: Interior

On the inside, the seat upholstery is a combination of Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather with contrast stitching. The artistic embroidery on the seats is a motif inspired by the stripes as they meet on the spine of a tiger.

Range Rover SV Ranthambore: Powertrain

Powering the Range Rover SV Ranthambore edition is a familiar 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which pushes out 395 bhp and 550 Nm of peak torque. This unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels.
