BMW M4 CS Launched at Rs 1.89 Crore

BMW has launched the M4 CS in India at a base price of Rs 1.89 crore (ex-showroom). This model is positioned above the M4 Competition, offering enhanced performance features.

The M4 CS is available in metallic paintworks—Black Sapphire and Brooklyn Grey. BMW Individual metallic paint finishes available as standard: Frozen Isle of Man Green and Riviera Blue. Full leather Merino Anthracite upholstery is available as standard.

The car will be available in the country as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model and can be booked at the BMW dealership network.

The BMW M4 CS is 20 kg lighter due to a titanium exhaust silencer and several carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components, including the center console, gearbox paddles, and various interior trims. It also features lighter wheels, with 19-inch alloys at the front and 20-inch at the rear.

Powertrain and performance

The M4 CS is powered with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six engine, similar to the standard M4.

However, it delivers 550 HP, which is 20 HP more than the M4 Competition. This increase is due to an increase in turbo-pressure from 1.7 bar to 2.1 bar. The peak torque remains at 650 Nm but is now available from 2,750 rpm to 5,950 rpm, extending by 220 rpm compared to its predecessor.
