Audi Cars To Get Costlier by 2% From May 15

  • Audi has announced second price revision in less than six months. Earlier, the company had made a price revision by up to 3 per cent in January 2025.

Audi, the renowned German luxury car manufacturer, has announced a price increase of up to 2 per cent across its model range in India, effective from May 15, 2025.
This decision comes in response to the rising input and transportation costs faced by the company. This is the second price revision in less than six months. Earlier, the company had made a price revision by up to 3 per cent in January 2025.

Audi India Lineup

The ex-showroom prices of popular models such as the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q3, Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi S5 Sportback, Audi RS Q8, Audi Q8 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, Audi e-tron GT and Audi RS e-tron GT range will reflect the increase.
Prices for the entire line-up range between ₹44.99 lakh and ₹2.04 crore (ex-showroom, India), with the Q3 being the most affordable model and the RS e-tron GT being the most expensive.
Audi stated that the price rise will affect several of its models, including luxury cars and SUVs. The company has not specified the exact amount by which each model’s price will increase, but customers can expect the prices to go up by a maximum of 2%.

Audi India Sales

Audi India reported sales of 1,223 units in the first quarter of 2025, marking a 17 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. The growth was attributed to Audi’s diverse product portfolio and improved supply chain stability.
Popular models driving the sales included the Audi Q7 and Q8. The company’s pre-owned car business, ‘Audi Approved: plus’, also showed significant growth with a 23 per cent increase compared to Q1 2024. Dhillon had said that the growth “underscores the confidence our customers have in brand Audi and the strength of our product portfolio”.
The German luxury carmaker sold 5,816 units in India in 2024. Moreover, the automaker reached the milestone of selling 100,000 units in the country. The ‘Audi Approved: plus’ registered a strong 32 per cent growth in 2024 compared to the previous year.
