German carmaker BMW is celebrating 50 years of the 3 series globally. To celebrate the milestone, BMW has rolled out special ‘50 Jahre’ Editions of the 3 Series Long Wheelbase (330Li M Sport) and the M340i.
Both models are produced locally at the company’s plant in Chennai, with availability capped at just 50 units each of the 330Li and M340i.
Customers purchasing the BMW M340i ‘50 Jahre’ Edition will also receive a 1:18 scale model of the iconic BMW 3.0 CSL.

Both 330Li and M340i come with laser-engraved ‘1/50’ badging on the B-pillar reflecting their limited numbers.
Additionally, the 330Li edition is offered with M High-Gloss Shadowline elements paired with carbon fiber interior trim and a head-up display with 3D augmented view navigation.
Moreover, the M340i gets special emblems paired with performance door pins and black M badged fenders.
It sports Jet Black 19-inch wheels with attention-grabbing red M Sport brake callipers.

It features the exclusive Leather Vernasca upholstery in Black with M Highlights.
The 330Li M Sport uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 258 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, with acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.
The M340i is powered by a 2.998-liter straight-six petrol engine generating 374 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.4 seconds.
