BYD India is gearing up to launch the M6 electric MPV in India in the coming weeks. The Chinese carmaker has once again teased its replacement for the E6 MPV. This will make the entire BYD range up to date with the rest of the world.
The MPV comes with 3-row seating and could also be offered in a 6-seater configuration.
The M6 is an updated version of the e6 MPV, which was earlier on sale in India exclusively for the fleet segment.
The M6 will bring many of the updates that have been due on the E6 for a long time. This list includes three rows of seating, dual digital screens, connected car technology, and an increase in the number of storage spaces. The M6, at 530 km, also has a slightly bigger range than the E6.
The refreshed M6 will boast a new sleek front fascia, featuring full-LED headlamps with a distinctive revised LED daytime running lamp signature. The headlamps are now connected by a satin trim element.
adorned with BYD lettering, adding a touch of sophistication. The front bumper has been redesigned with more sculpted air vents and elegant chrome accents, enhancing the vehicle’s visual appeal.
In terms of size, the BYD M6 measures 4,710 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,690 mm in height, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the BYD M6 will offer a modern and well-equipped cabin, featuring a 12.8-inch rotating infotainment display, a large sunroof, ventilated seats, and wireless charging.
The BYD M6 was offered with two battery options: 55.4 kWh and 71.8 kWh, offering a range of 420 km and 530 km, respectively. The batteries power a single electric motor that produces 161 BHP/310 Nm (55.4 kWh) and 201 BHP/310 Nm (71.8 kWh).
