Citroen C3 CNG introduced at Rs 7.16 lakh

The CNG kit is sold exclusively through Citroen’s authorized dealership network and includes a 3-year or 1 lakh km warranty, covering all associated components.

French automaker, Citroen has introduced CNG version of the C3 hatchback in the Indian market. The CNG variant gets a dealer-level CNG kit fitment and is priced Rs 93,000 more than the base variant.

The Citroen C3 CNG price starts at Rs 7.16 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.24 lakh, ex-showroom, India.

Lovato and Citroen have teamed up for the CNG kit’s supply and installation. The kit includes a single cylinder with a 55-litre water equivalent capacity, allowing for a range of 170-200km on a full tank. This collaboration ensures that Citroen C3 owners can reliably convert their vehicles to CNG without compromising on performance or safety.

Furthermore, modified rear shock absorbers, strengthened suspension springs, and an anti-roll bar have been added to enhance ride quality.

Mileage

Citroen claims a fuel efficiency of 28.1kmpkg on the CNG mode, thereby reducing the running costs to Rs 2.66/km.

Warranty:

The Citroen C3 CNG comes with a 3-year/100,000 Km warranty for both the car and the CNG components.
