Citroën India Introduces C3, Aircross, Basalt In Dark Editions

The brand ambassador of Citroen, Mahendra Singh Dhoni took the first delivery of Basalt Dark Edition.
The Dark Editions will be available in Limited units.

Citroen India has launched dark editions of C3, the C3 Aircross SUV, and the Basalt coupe-SUV. The Dark Edition models will be available in limited numbers.

The limited edition will be offered exclusively on the top variants of the Citroën C3, Aircross, a Coupé and will be available through Citroën’s nationwide dealership network starting from today.

The Dark Edition is based on the top variants of the 3 Citroen SUVs.

Design and Interior

The Dark Editions of the C3, Aircross and Basalt come finished in a black exterior colour and get black model badges in place of chrome ones with Perla Nera black exterior paint, and dark chrome adorns the grille, body mouldings, and badges.

On the inside, the Dark Edition Models feature a Carbon Black interior colour scheme with Metropolitan Black leatherette seats bearing Lava Red contrast detailing. Additionally, The front seats will have ‘Dark Edition’ embroidery alongside a grey insert and extra accessories like specially themed seat belts and cushions will be included.

Citroën Brand Ambassador Mahendra Singh Dhoni unveiled the new Dark Edition and also took delivery of 1st Bas Dark Edition from the series, making him the first owner of this highly anticipated edition.

Speaking at the launch, Citroën India Brand Director, Shishir Mishra, stated, “The Dark Edition underscores our commitment to blending bold design with contemporary style and delivering distinct vehicles that reflect the evolving tastes of Indian consumers.”

“With its striking all-black aesthetics, limited availability, and premium enhancements, we are offering an enhanced level of exclusivity that makes each Citroën in this lineup truly special. As we unveil the Dark Edition, we’re elated to welcome MS Dhoni as the first customer, officially joining the Citroën Owners Club in style.”
