The latest FASTag Annual Pass, which was launched just four days ago on August 15, has crossed the 5 lakh user milestone, signaling massive enthusiasm from highway commuters across India.
Implemented at about 1,150 toll plazas on National Highways and Expressways, FASTag Annual Pass has received an overwhelming response from highway users in the country.
The FASTag Annual Pass received an overwhelming response from the National Highway users. Tamil Nadu led the most number of Annual Pass purchased over the last four days, followed by the states of Karnataka and Haryana. Also, maximum transactions through FASTag Annual Pass at the toll plazas were recorded in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
The FASTag annual pass can be activated only on the Rajmarg Yatra mobile app and website of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The FASTag annual pass is available for cars, jeeps and vans with a valid FASTag account linked to the vehicle’s registration number and a positive balance.
FASTag Annual Pass is valid for one year from the date of activation or 200 trips transactions at toll plazas, whichever comes first.
The payment can be done via the Rajmarg Yatra app or the official NHAI website using UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking. Wallet balances, however, are not accepted.
This annual pass facility is accepted only at NHAI-operated toll plazas on National Highways and Motorways. It cannot be used at state highways or private motorways.
