Ford India is gearing up for a reintroduction of the Endeavour SUV to the Indian market, and excitingly, it’s expected to be rebranded as the Everest.
India’s production of Everest could start by late 2025 or 2026. Interestingly, the SUV comes with different features depending on the country it is sold in.
The new Ford Endeavour (previously popular as Endeavour) gets a muscular look with its massive grille featuring dual chrome bars connecting the two headlamps.
From the side, the Ford Endeavour maintains its rugged SUV stance with its boxy proportions and stands on massive 21-inch alloy wheels. The massive road presence does get missed on Indian roads.
The new-generation Ford Everest, previously known as the Endeavour, boasts a newly designed interior.
Ford Endeavour key safety features include 9 airbags, electronic stability control, and ADAS L2 with Pre-Collision Assist, Lane Keeping System, Reverse Brake Assist, and Parking Assist.
The global Ford Endeavour (previously popular as Endeavour) offers multiple engine options: two 2.0-liter diesel variants (single and twin-turbo), a 2.0-liter bi-turbo inline-4 engine producing 200 hp and 500 nm of torque, or a 3.0-liter V6 diesel powerhouse producing 243 hp and 600 nm of torque, both mated to a 10-speed transmission.
Once launched, it will compete against SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq.
