GST 2.0 Benefit: Renault Kwid Gets Cheaper By Upto Rs 55,000
Renault Kwid price has been cut by upto Rs 55,000 following the implementation of GST 2.0. This price revision makes the Kwid one of the most affordable and value-packed hatchbacks in India, especially for first-time buyers and city commuters.
This change is due to the GST rate for sub-4-meter petrol cars being reduced from 29% (28% GST + 1% cess) to a simplified 18%.
