  • The price cut for the Land Rover Defender in India ranges from ₹7 lakh up to ₹19 lakh, depending on the specific model and variant. 

Land Rover Defender Prices Dropped
Land Rover Defender price have been cut by upto Rs 19 lakh. The new pricing is effective immediately from September 9, 2025.

This price cut is in response to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate changes under the new GST 2.0 reforms.

This is one of the biggest price corrections in India’s luxury SUV segment. The Defender, known for its off-road capability and premium build, is now significantly more accessible.

Commenting on the updated prices, Rajan Amba, Managing Director, JLR India, said, “The GST rationalisation on luxury vehicles is a welcome move for customers and for the industry. This move will provide much-needed impetus reinforcing our confidence in and commitment to India’s luxury market.”
